John Taylor/Duran Duran Fan Fiction:
Darkness Invisible Key Member: John, but the others (even the original members) make an appearance or two. Synopsis: So, you're famous and it is driving you a bit crazy. Sometimes you wish you could just fake your own death or sneak off to some deserted island to get some peace. What if one day your wish came true? What if your wish came true more *literally* than you would have liked? What if one day you woke up invisible and no one could see or hear you anymore? John finds out. Rating: NC-17/hard R for sexual situations and slash. Genre: Drama, Science Fiction?

My American Muse Key Member(s): John and Simon Synopsis: First and foremost, I suppose this is a romance, but the main subtext is an "alternate reality" piece that manipulates the possible present if John had never been in Duran Duran. This subject has already been around the fan fiction circles with the story "First Impression" and I'll admit being somewhat inspired by that work. Also, a tip of the hat goes to the first story that was ever posted on the DDFic mailing list and is of a similar nature, "Reprise," which also inspired me. Rating: R, with some naughty NC-17 bits. Genre: Drama, Romance, Alternate History...and yes, folks, some Slash.

Can You Let Go? Key Member: Simon (the narrative) and John Synopsis: So, I read that Simon Q&A on Tigerlist and weirdly enough found myself inspired by what he said the meaning of "Someone Else Not Me" stemmed from. Of course, I had to take it to the realm of slash or it just wouldn't be me, would it? Rating: I suppose it is R. There is intoxication, allusions to desire, and Spandau Ballet. Genre: This is just a slash/romance vignette. It was a bit of a challenge as I could probably go on and on with it, but decided to just make it short.
